yep.

not much to say these days...
pretty engrossed with me plans to become a chartered accountant- o yeah! dreamin it big.
but apparently they accountants have the highest level of job satisfaction and journalists have the lowest.
i figure u get paid pretty well eh and it's all pretty much the same stuff so i should have free time while i work and will be able to retire early.
and what will i use this time for?
write my book of course! that should be fun.. and it will be successful i suppose, leaving me with more funds to buy pretty things. hmm..
what do i even want to buy huh..
well.. to name a few

  • apartment
  • dog
  • bike
  • big screen tv
god i don't even want that much eh. those things r like.. i'd like it if i had them.. but i don't at the moment and i'm not too bothered.
i have no idea what i want...
but if i make lots of money, i can probably satisfy short-term materialistic wishes and that's pretty much the best i can hope for
if i become an accountant i should have the 2 most important and valuable things in this world. time and money.
when i have those things i will figure out what i'm gona do with them. my life's dream of world domination.. i don't know if i will give up cuz it's just like: effort vs reward.. effort- lots, reward- whatever i want... BUT I DON'T KNOW WHAT I WANT!
monuments to remember me by? kinda.. living forever in school textbooks?.. maybe.. as they do offer some kind of influence on the future leaders of the world. more episodes of futurama? yeah..
but anyway. for now, i don't have much time or money to spare, so i'll worry about that later~ but just to throw it out there~~

Chapter 17: TV dependency

TV deserves a full chapter in my book i'm afraid... I need a healthy dose of TV everyday. I'm sure I can quit anytime I want.. but it just helps make my study so much more bearable. U c.. I don lyk wasting my time and studying is something I have 2 do and obviously it's easy 2 get distracted. Sooo... those unavoidable moments lacking concentration r filled with the joy of TV which brings my mind back 2 reality. What I think is that

Watching television kills off the weaker brain-cells, so you are left with the smart ones-- Survival of the Fittest. For this to be in full effect, study/do homework during the session to generate "media-retardant" brain cells.
it started out as a joke.. but i have lead myself 2 believe it.. heh.. this mite just have 2 go in Chapter 4 as well.. o well i'll get my editor 2 do that when i'm successful n rich.

I thot i'd start wi my 1st addiction:

I have seasons 3,6,7,+8 on DVD and the rest on.. detarip.. I just find the show funny and familiar. It is not a stressing show~ kinda lyk easy-watching..

"OK, I smell smoke. Maybe that's 'cause someone's pants are on fire."
Phoebe: Ok, Ross, could you just open your mind like this much, ok? Wasn't there a time when the brightest minds in the world believed that the world was flat? And, up until like what, 50 years ago, you all thought the atom was the smallest thing, until you split it open, and this like, whole mess of crap came out. Now, are you telling me that you are so unbelievably arrogant that you can't admit that there's a teeny tiny possibility that you could be wrong about this?
Ross: There might be, a teeny, tiny, possibility.
Phoebe: I can't believe you caved.
Ross: What?
Phoebe: You just abandoned your whole belief system. *Ross whimpers* I mean, before, I didn't agree with you, but at least I respected you. How, how, how are you going to go into work tomorrow? How, how are you going to face the other science guys? How are you going to face yourself? Oh! *Ross exits quickly* That was fun. So who's hungry?

Phoebe: No, no, Mr. Heckles no one is making any noise up here.
Mr. Heckles: You're disturbing my oboe practice.
Phoebe: You don't play the oboe!
Mr. Heckles: I could play the oboe!
Phoebe: Then I'm gonna have to ask you to keep it down.

[extended]Chapter 6: a way with words

[this text should be read in a anti-Hamlet tone]

EXTENT REVENGE IS CENTRAL THEME IN HAMLET

The entire of Shakespeare’s revenge tragedy, Hamlet revolves around the task bestowed upon Hamlet by his ghost father, of revenge. This theme uses the central character as a stepping stone to become the central theme, and embodies the very seed which cultivates a life dedicated to revenge, withering when the avenger succeeds. The weed-like theme branches throughout the play, festering the world of Denmark and its inhabitants. Shakespeare uses Hamlet as a host of the parasite, revenge, with the development of this character caused by the degree of infestation increasing. The play, outlines Hamlet’s struggles to accomodate the effects of revenge until he is forced to yield.

We, along with Hamlet, are introduced to the concept of revenge in the last scene of Act One, after the presentation of the characters to be scathed by Hamlet’s revenge later on. These characters and their peaceful, albeit uneasy, atmosphere contrasts with the chaos and havoc wrought by this single task set upon the “heart of Denmark”, the prince Hamlet. In this scene, the angry Ghost of Hamlet’s father, who has been doomed to walk the earthly realms for the rest of eternity, fuels his celestially enlarged thirst for vengeance to “Revenge his foul and most unnatural murder” into the susceptible weak shell of his mourning son. Hamlet is obligated to satisfy this plea for his love, loyalty and honour towards his father, idolizing him in earlier scenes as a greek god “Hyperion”, thus deciding to let “the thoughts of love... sweep to my revenge.” He decides then to dedicate his life to revenge and “wipe away all trivial fond records” in order for “thy commandment all alone shall live”. However he is still reluctant to avenge so at the end of the scene he concludes that “the time is out of joint” due to the disruption of the natural order caused by Claudius’ regicide thus by punishing Claudius, he is cleansing the kingdom of Denmark. He amends the task set by the ghost to this noble "purging of evil" quest by commiting regicid, appointing himself with the role of Providence to justify his actions. This is a common step for avengers to take, as they feel as though they have been wronged and take it upon themselves to punish justly. He feels alone being the only one that knows Claudius, instead of being punished for his murder, gets a new wife, and becomes king; what he doesn’t realise is that he has unknowingly he has “tainted” his mind and let his “soul contrive” by analyzing the situation so much, entangling himself in a cesspool of pent-up anger that converts his “secondary” revenge into “primary” or personal vengeance. From this point on, the theme of revenge consumes the central character and hijacks the play in human form.

The common process through which popular characters who choose to take the path of revenge undergo, involves the exposing of the truth to invite the audience’s sympathy, but in this case Horatio too, is asked to inform the rest of the fictional world. From the end of Act One onwards, all of Hamlet’s actions reflect on the single thought in his mind, revenge. He isolates himself with the “antic disposition”, seemingly possessed with unaccountable mood swings where he “fell into a sadness, then into a fast, thence to a watch, thence into a weakness, thence to a lightness” as observed by characters around him. Claudius too, senses a peculiarity, calling on Hamlet’s friends Rosencrantz and Guildenstern to spy on him. Upon their reunion, we discover Hamlet’s new characteristics, in particular, vigilance and aggression. He continuously asks “Were you not sent for?” to give the pair a chance to confess and join him; he emphasizes that “If you love me, hold not off,” and they do confess, “My lord, we were sent for”. He feels as if he has been betrayed, even though he is forcing his friends to pick sides between the king’s orders and himself. This causes him to feel very alone in the world feeling as though he has “lost all” his “mirth”, replaced by the view, “man delights not me - no, nor woman neither,” a harbour of hate for the human race. The parasitic theme revenge has kicked in as he isolates himself, and elevates himself above others; a classic step for an avenger. It has extensively seeped into every part of Hamlet’s life and completely desecrated his mind, as he places the blame on and separates himself from his fellow humans, and whatsmore convinced himself that he is a higher being, Providence, possessing the right to be a mortal punisher, “prompted... by heaven and hell”. As this new “righteous” character emerges, he finally takes action against Claudius by manipulating the play to “catch the conscience of the King” and justify his revenge to come.

The true extent to which revenge is a central theme may not be evident at first, but with comparison to avengers such as the Count of Monte Cristo in the respective novel and Frank Castle in The Punisher who also take these very steps, its immense influence becomes obvious. In Hamlet itself, Shakespeare creates minor characters, Laertes and Fortinbras, that both seek revenge in unapproved methods. Laertes’ revenge differed as it was fuelled by passion with lack of thought, rushing in to kill the wrongly accused Claudius when it was Hamlet’s crime. Claudius integrates this passion with his own schemes booking in Hamlet’s death. I admired Laertes the most, because he was the only one in the end to resist the “contagion to this world” revenge, halting its extension when he forgives his antagonist calling him “noble Hamlet” and asking him to “exchange forgiveness with me”. Vengeance appears to have originated from Old Hamlet, as we observe the common link between Denmark’s atmosphere of revenge and Fortinbras; somehow revenge had spread all the way to Norway. To affect the main character so deeply with the domino effects of Laertes and Fortinbras which cause in-depth side stories, the central theme has definitely spread to the point that all the plots and characters are affected; ultimately causing so many deaths.

Revenge, however, is not the only main theme of the play; it merely influences the other themes to become the central theme. One main theme is corruption, or something “rotten in the state of Denmark”. Superficially, the corruption points to the regicide being crowned and his incest marriage with his brother’s widow. Although Claudius appears very corrupt, there is not enough information of Old Hamlet to condemn him. With so much revenge in the play, it is hard to believe Claudius’ act of regicide is not also an act of revenge. The “something” rotten, can be seen as the supernaturally amplified desires of vengeance waiting to spring upon many characters. Once entrusted to the central and publicly respected character, revenge was free to conquer any part of Denmark. Claudius remarks, “Revenge should have no bounds”, which was true. Because of Hamlet’s procrastination of “to be, or not to be” the symbiote grew to be a part of Hamlet; even he realised “Yet I have in me something dangerous”. Vengeance had rooted so deep into the play that restraint became hardly possible caused by true madness or loss of conscience, such as Hamlet’s rash, needless murder of Rosencrantz and Guildenstern. Even upon reflection he doesn’t regret this, coldly saying “their defeat does by their own insinuation grow”, thus the success in purging Denmark of corruption meant the deaths of most of the characters. Similarly to a leg needing amputation, the theme revenge corrupted such a large portion of the play.

Hamlet uses the main character to portray the characteristics of revenge, essentially isolation, uncontrollability, recklessness and singlemindedness. Embodying the central character enabled it to wreak unlimited havoc and dominate the play. In Shakespearean times taking personal revenge against criminals, such as murderers, was much more respected than nowadays. This allowed Shakespeare to create a main character who is completely consumed and dedicated to his vengeance, willing to sacrifice all relations with friends and family. Even his seemingly close “friendship” with Horatio served purely to justify his revenge. Hamlet illustrates how tragic a life can become when the element revenge is present.

Chapter 16: parallel universe

most pps in their lives have had imaginary friends... however wid my... expansive mind, my friends, became a whole new world.
yes. overly-active imagination.

[i have always refrained from revealing this side of me, as deep down i still wanted it 2 b true.. but thinking of my anthem Go by Steriogram "You just gotta jump if u waaant it to chaaange", i've taken the leap and am confronting reality]
this is the world which i have created:
this is the extent into which my real friends were involved

  • having digimon + pokemon [mine incl. gatomon; arkanine, dragonair, espeon, umbreon... cant remember rest~ i had 6]
  • soft toys come to life
all me
  • being the most powerful witch of all time eg. if i were 10/10 god was 4/10 as well as devil.
  • friends incl. demons, angels etc. who would avenge me lol!
  • imaginary pets
  • this world was called the 'non-visual' world and thought of as a parallel world which my mind tapped into.
  • i was a combination of a soul in that world which had managed 2 possess this body~ causing my good and evil side~ this body bein the evil one and the half from the other bein the 'good' one.
freaky huh. sometimes im scared of the power of my brain..but it was created around the time Pokemon n Digimon came out in NZ.
the inspiration came from needin company sometimes as no1 really understands the way i think (can b proved with Chapter 13)
but i've abandoned it cuz.. well it tired my brain.. and i thought there's no point..
mayb i should write a book on this world.. then i can escape in2 it with no significant amount'o brainpower.

Chapter 12: modes of my behaviour

Fuk yea i hav finished my 6th and last 3 hour exam this yr ~ i had 2 yesterday n 1 2day. its bn so goddam stressful during this study leave i've wachd... on average~ 4 hrs of Tv a day 4 stress release and brain cell regeneration. thats the reason 4 the long separation of an important part of myself [my blog]. i thnk i do believ in fate.. cuz no matter hw much i studied i wil stil gt bad marks~its my destiny.

this overdue chapter is gona b of the only ways i behave. theres no other. im a simple folk~

1. AUTOPILOT
Maybe on about 60% of the time.. this is my opinion of how everybody else acts~ no insight.. robots that dont think of anything other than surviving. Like.. if u say 'how are you?' i'll jst say 'fine'. this mode is on so much cuz of my laziness.. lyk i'd rather not argue my point [if it wont affect me] ~which is usually right~u heard me~ i dont decide on stuff widou the ability 2 write a 500 word essay on the reasoning if i had 2. anyway yea. if i say i thnk u shud paint the fence green bt u say blue.. i wont argue my point..i'd rather lose cuz its ur fence anyway..

2. DRIFT
u can usually c this if my face is blank and u ask me a question n theres jst no response. this is when i come up wi all that insightful crap~ i usually go slightly philosophical bt all my thots r unique. ON ONE CONDITION: relaxed mind. this is quite difficult 2 integrate with mode MISSION which was do well in exams but i had 2 in order 2 write stuff~hence the excessive drainage

3. COMMITING 2 THE MOMENT
i once heard that if u can enjoy the present second for what it is then that is really [thesaurus "good"]. it removes a lot of stress such as the thought of all the work i gotta do 2 become rich in the future or regretting stuff i did in the past. during the exam i had 2 hav tis mode on too or else i'd DRIFT onto something unacademically-related.

4. MISSION
easy explanation~ wont stop until mission completed. even if it kills me~ if i dont do it thers no point in living anyway.

5. LOGICAL
pretty much always on this mode~ well wen im not too lazy 2 thnk anyway. i pretty much make everything 2d.. lyk on a piece of paper so i can c evry single aspect of it.

6. DEMOLITION
rarely on.. bt when u truly rile me up- get me angry man thers no way ur escaping widou mentally dying~ i dontdo [physical as much cuz i lost weight so i hav low muscle mass~ im workin on it~ n also i'd rather mentally kill some1 than physically hurt sum1

i feel lyk thers 1 im missing bt ill stop @ 6~ lucky numbah

Chapter 6 [extended]

ncea 2 wide reading unit standard.. 3 credits. i passed. easy. here's an extract of mine. talk out yo ass and u pass.

“Northern Lights” Phillip Pullman
(winner of the Carnegie Medal, & the Guardian Award)
“Northern Lights”, book one of a trilogy involves an almost entirely different world, yet it was easy to follow. Humans all had a “dæmon”, a guardian angel type of companion with a link to your mind so as each knew what the other was thinking and could feel any physical pain they may be feeling. To touch someone else’s dæmon was an insensitive crime. In this adventure, the main character Lyra discovers that many of the children around are disappearing, and soon her best friend disappears. Later she finds that people are performing experiments on the children and their dæmons who, unlike adults’ dæmons, can freely change form. I think that if the world was like this, then it would be a much better place, as no one would ever be alone and people are able to know what people are like before meeting them by merely looking at the person’s dæmon and the form they chose to permanently stay. The experiments that were performed on the children was the severing of the bond between a child and their dæmon. This permanently damages the mentality of the child and dæmon, they become “lost” and many die. Problems like this naturally arise in the same way that abuse in reality does. However in Phillip Pullman’s world there is always someone to share the burden with.

“The Other Boleyn Girl” Philipa Gregory
I found the way this novel was written interesting and clever. Each chapter was one season of the year, this way nothing significant is given by the chapter title, yet it still had a meaning and varied in length due to events. It was based around the character Mary Boleyn, Henry VIII’s wife Anne Boleyn’s sister. Before I read the book I had a vague knowledge of Henry and his wives and thought Anne Boleyn was the most suited for queen. This was, however, not the case. The Boleyn family was a family which always stuck together and sacrificed much including the freedom of daughters, to bring the family higher in status and wealth. When her family found that the king had taken an interest in her, Mary was pushed forth to do whatever it took to become new Queen of England. She had always been loyal and faithful, especially to her Queen Katherine of Aragon. But she is forced on the king and becomes his “whore” and has and illegitimate daughter and son for him. Henry is a spoilt and greedy king and soon he falls for Anne. Mary is pushed aside with everything taken away from her. I thought that the book was interesting as it covered a significant length of time in addition to being integrated into facts so it is believable when many interesting events occur. I don’t think Anne deserved the throne since she was too ambitious and careless of those that loved her. They had the life of a courtier and their daily life was social and fun. I would love to meet one and see how they act in real life, but personally wouldn’t want to become one. In the end Mary chooses love and moves to live on a farm with her loving husband and children. This is true in history, which was the most satisfying conclusion a could have; it makes following your hearth the outright correct way to live.

“The House of the Scorpion” Nancy Farmer
(National Book Award Winner, Newberry Honor Book Winner, Michael Printz Award, three-time Newberry Honor author)
A unique futuristic novel which has become one of my favourites. What attracted me to this book was the three award medals printed on the front cover and the peculiar blurb describing the main character, a clone who was “placed in the womb of a cow” as an embryo. As I read the first chapter I suspected a queer scientific story to follow. As it turned out, the novel is actually about the life of Matteo Alacrán, clone of 134 year old El Patrón. Clones are considered monsters since their minds are demolished at birth. Matt is different. El Patrón, notorious drug dealer, and basically ruler of Opium (the new strip of country between Mexico and USA) is rich enough to break the law, so he kept Matt’s brain intact. Matt grew up with only María for a friend, but she treated him like a pet while everyone else treated him poorly leading him to think he was inferior. He struggled through life until at 14 he escaped after the death of El Patrón when he discovered clones were all used and created for the purpose of a supply of matching organ transplants. My favourite character is Tam Lin, Matt’s scottish bodyguard. Although he was a criminal who had killed a bus full of children with a bomb intended for an unjust prime minister, he was a fair person who treated everyone, including Matt, equally. He let Matt know that there is no way to tell the difference between clones and humans thus helped him escape to Mexico where no one would know who he was. He made friends immediately, showing that the only obstacle he had of making friends was being a clone.

“Owl” Joanna Orwin
NZ author Joanna Orwin writes an adventure set in New Zealand based on the Maori myth of Pouakai, the giant man-eating eagle. Hamish MacIntyre makes the discovery of the century when he finds perfectly preserved and clear Maori cave drawings hidden under a cave roof. What he doesn’t know is with the right combination of taking photos and accidentally capturing a the kaitiaki stone of protection, he once again releases the lengendary bird, indestructible by normal means. The MacIntyre family farm had been struggling since Hamish’s father’s death and with the eagle out killing lambs and ewes, they have little chance to make it. But with the assistance of Tama, Hamish’s new friend and helper on the farm, they find these recent events were all preordained and it’s up to them to decipher the code and save the neighbour’s and their farms. At first I found the title Owl denotation and the pair of wings on the front cover mislead me. However having read the entire book, I encountered many connotations and a deeper meaning. Owl is Hamish’s nick name, the translation of Ruru, the ancestor of the Ngati Ruru tribe who ensnared Pouakai 500 years ago. Tama is a member of this tribe and together with Hamish, they are the only ones who can trap Pouakai. This book was educational and entertaining with a touch of comedy and mystery, but some mysteries were too easily solved while the characters spent an age to find the solution. This made the characters seem dim-witted; yet they amazingly answered extremely difficult questions in a few seconds. Despite this confusion, I enjoyed this story as it was very descriptive, allowing images to flow easily while reading, as though Pouakai had been entrapped in it.

“Macbeth” William Shakespeare
Macbeth, a valiant and loyal warrior for his king and cousin Duncan, starts as the classic hero of the story. But on the way back to the castle, after an extraordinary battle and victory, he and his best friend stumbles across three mysterious beings not knowing it would ultimately cause the death of both them and many others. A tragic play involving deaths, including King Duncan, servants, Macduff’s family, Banquo, Lady Macbeth, and Macbeth, can not be all and only kill kill kill, to become a piece of literature worth being thoroughly studied by many it must have deep morals and meanings. This mainly done by a range of conflicts occuring inside the minds of many individual characters. At first Macbeth has frequent soliloquys on whether to kill or not, but as the play progresses his conscience shuts down for a while. The release of this murdering monster was blamed on Lady Macbeth, but in my opinion Macbeth began as a murderer, the only difference was that in the beginning his violence was channeled as a soldier for his country, and even then there were gruesome description such as Macbeth gutting someone “from nave to belly”. In the finale, after all his friends had deserted him, he wakes from his nightmare only to be surrounded by a nightmare in reality, and he realises it’s him against an army, whom’s numbers I thought unnecessary, and he knew he would without a doubt die. He had lost everything, even his wife andpartner in crime, so he decides to try and regain his reputation and die fighting.

“Howl’s Moving Castle” Diana Wynne Jones
Distinctly different from the animated film, the novel tells a much more complicated story more elaborately explained. Sophie Hatter, the eldest daughter of a hat store owner lead a simple life until she was turned into a 90 year old woman by the Witch of the Waste. I found this to be an interesting way to portray a character. As an old lady she felt free to express her thoughts and abandon the burden eldest daughters carry in Ingary and seek her destiny. Unable to walk any further, she hires herself as the widely feared Wizard Howl’s cleaning lady in his moving castle. Together they live with the young apprentice, Michael, and the fire demon, Calcifer as they try to lift the curse, free Calcifer from Howl’s contract and save Howl from the Witch of the Waste. The secret to Howl’s evasive ability, other than multiple identities is the four different places the one entrance door of the castle leads; the moving castle, a shop by the sea, a stable near the palace and the secret location to which only Howl is allowed to access. Although the book never confirms, through hints such as a “box” which when pulled “by the roots” the “picture on the box vanished” the future, our present time, is suggested. I really enjoyed the fantasy and imaginativeness, incorporating my favourite element of fiction, magic.

my proposal

1. do u believ in fate? destiny? lets test this eh? eg. if ur smart, do well academically etc. rnt u pretty much set 2 go 2 uni get degrees masters n all that jazz? so y not stop studying/working and c if it comes 2 u?
OR
if ur a fireman.. light a building on fire?
it's quite hard 2 think of examples. my point is~ my proposal is~do sumthn out of the ordinary n c if the world goes topsy turvy or apocaliptic. i mean.. if ur life's already mapped out y not just chill~ it'll all work out.

2. well.. i do lyk experimenting so far i'v found a possible cure 4 pins+needles in legs and hiccups
PINS+NEEDLES
press the dent in ur knees. this'll lessen the numbness 4 u 2 stamp around n get rid of them
HICCUPS
works a bit better after 5 hiccs or so.. take the deepest breath u can and hold it 4 10 seconds then slowly breathe out, then swallow.
ANYWAY thats not my second proposal:-
if u c a couple walking down the street.. pretend lyk u no the one who is the same sex as u and dis them. this can cause A) the other 2 retaliate or B)nothing
tis experiment will strengthen healthy strong relationships and weaken an unhealthy one.
CAUTION: pick on some1 the same or lesser than u. DONT pick on sum1 who can beat u 2 a pulp.
and NOTE: no blame can b place on moi.

well thats about all i hav time 4. 3wks til important exams that'll count 4 my future. i cant fail them purposely bcuz i'm too afraid.

intermission.

at a concert its just a break 4 musicians 2 whine @ the mistakes they make and stress out 4 the next part..
today was kinda an intermission 4 me.. except i didnt whine or anything.. i jst did nth. thats hw a break's sposd 2 b lyk.
i wached "The League of Gentlemen" 1 disc..from the library.. lyk i wud actually buy that crap.. i wached home alone 1 and 2.. [i bought those]
its a thursday but it feels lyk the end of time.. it doesnt feel lyk anyday..
last wk exams startd on fri.. so i'd bn studyin hard out4 more'n a week! thats y i dont no wat the hell the day is~the only thing kpin my memory is TV-->yesterday scrubs was on~its always on wednsdays.

"If you resist temptation you're just passing by one of the rare pleasures that come along in life"
A little wisdom from the wisdomeister

the little pieces of inspiration that constantly rain into my thoughts..is a reason i think i shud change the blog title.. i mean it has NO MEANING! i jst named it that cuz i lykd the word "chronicle" and cheetahs r awesome..
i think i shud change it 2 sumthin with meaning

"Don't complain when the problem can't b fixed. Complain when it can."
i'm on fire..

Life is kinda lyk a video game [this was implied in my speech] this stage~earth is jst a level.. when ur done u hav 2 move on.. u got no choice bt 2 advance 2 the nxt level~some ppl use the cheat ~commit suic,, bt thats no help cuzz ur gona b clueless @ the next level.. and when ur done u die-- no choice. Of course there is a way 2 stay longer [but y wud u want 2 if u cud go sumwher better] u cud always explore evrything once u no the goal.. jst avoid it til u gotten all tat u wanted..

hmm that was kinda randomly philosphical..

PS. my next chapter wil b modes of my actions i think..

25.8.06

Chapter 11: misunderstood.

yea..its quite hard emotionally to get by as me.. but im strong but here's why..

1 thing evry1 always gets wrong~ wen i appear bitchy im being sarcastic.. sometimes jst 2 test hw ppl wil react~ if u actually cared 2 look @ my expression/eyes (afterward/during) u can actually c im kidding..i'v never in my life [apart frm primary sch] been mean 2 any1 [unless u'v established that u dont lyk me~ in which case ill actually pay no attention 2 u~ which isnt the worst thing i cud do: just dont expect any favours from me!!]

THEN~ i hav different priorites than other ppl. 4 me and 4 others... so lyk when i do sumthn that i thnk is really nice u'll jst thnk its average. when i do sumthn average/don't do sumthn. then u find it offensiv ..which is annoying.

eg. scenario A: u'v bought me a $50 book voucher 4 my bday.. i will b UNHAPPY! u hav spent soo much on a bloody pointless gift.
a.) i dont like reading, b.)ur out 50 big ones. .. no. i wud rather u spend a little mor thought and a little less money
BECAUSE: money is veryveryvery important to me. i just cant deal wi sum1 wasting their money on stupid things.
ppl lyk me r quite rare actually.. but if u meet sum1 lyk me who likes books don't by them a $50 book voucher. track down their favourite book and get it in a special edition.. u no.. sumthn lyk that..if u actually wana spend a lot.. or lyk if the 1st time we met we ate peanuts.. buy me a pack of peanuts..
scenario B: ur sitting next 2 me.. [lucky u!] i wud lyk u 2 pass me the.. holepunch. and i say "can u pass me the holepunch?" and u stare @ me blankly. I KNOW ur waiting 4 me 2 say please! but wat a fkin stupid thing 2 waste time wi! and if ur too fkin bitchy 2 pass it 2 me widou the measely WORD pleeease then u dont deserv it anyway! if u wud jst pass it 2 me.. i will say THANK YOU. this is much mor meaningful as i mean it~ u deserv it 4 passing it 2 me, and im thankful.
if i say please or suck up in any way when its not necessary [ie ur not at a higher rank than me + i feel we can be casual 2getha + ur nt one of those sweet ppl~nice evry single moment OR im starting 2 dislyk u.. and need one more reason 2 not lyk u] i die a little bit inside! if u knew it killd me a bit evry time i suck up 2 u.. and u still want me 2.. then ur obviously not a very nice person..y wud u kill my dignity? hmm?? dont make me say sumthn its humiliating.

so wat isss important 2 me?
not much really.. i can probably sum it up in 3 points.:

  1. effort + depth of thought
  2. no one 2 EXPECT anything frm me.. ill do it if i will~ im stubborn so whining wont help~ some bribes do tho
  3. dont look down on me in front of my face~ ull hav hell 2 pay

i recycle gifts i dont wana keep shhh...

15.8.06

the optometrist.

so.. went 2 the optometrists 2day..
got me eyes chekd
and i'v derived that the problems were certainly not caused by my best bud TV no..
in fact when i think abt it.. problems began Nov. last yr.. pretty much round the time of my 1st NCEA exams.
the facts rnt so simple tho..
with scarring on my left eye [found by my opthalmologist dad] vision of my left eye was blurred 4 short distance crap.
and i had 2 liv life evryday wi ppl goin omg.. y is ur eye red??
they ask this lyk millions of milions of times so that even wen a new person asks i hav 2 restrain myself from leaping @ them. yes thats how much they care 2 probe into my personal health. even when i lost a game ppl wud think i was crying.. wel hello is it possible 4 only my left eye 2 b crying??

so ther i was.. studying ALL DAY thinking i had perfectly manageable vision when o no.. my right eye was working extra hard to compensate 4 my inadequate left eye
so month after month, my right eye's health depreciated.until now..
the problem was found.. my right eye with 6/24 vision [pretty sucky]
so now i need 2 put a contact lens in my right eye...
lyk a contact monocle?

i suppose its 4 the best..
i can jst get a set.. and if 1 wears out i dont hav 2 buy a new one..
hell.. i can c fine widou glasses.. wen u add the 2 eyes 2getha its all gud..
and if monocles come bak into fashion im gud 2 go..
